All students can achieve when teaching and learning skills are improved along with a safe school environment which is aware of the social emotional needs of our students.

Here at East Bank, Excellence is Our Expectation. We strive to provide a positive and successful learning environment possible for all of our students. Our goal is to put students on a path of learning and equip them with the skills they need to be successful in their future academic endeavors and in the 21st century work place. Through data-driven educational practices and the incorporation of technology to enhance the classroom learning experience, we believe every student has the ability to learn and be successful.

Pioneer Mission:

Our mission is to educate our students to the best of our abilities by using our vision to do so, such as:

1. All students CAN achieve success when teaching and learning skills improve.

2. Quality teaching, which is focused on learning not just teaching, is the key to student success.

3. A safe school is an effective school.

4. Effective school leadership skills are essential in/out of the classroom for creating student success.

5.Should continue to improve stakeholder, family, and community engagement to improve partnerships at EBMS.

Pioneer Strategic Plan:

Goal 1 (Achievement)- East Bank Middle will increase the percentage of students that achieve typical and/or high growth in Math and RLA by 3% through quality instruction through a student learning environment by increasing each individual student growth EBMS will in fact increase the total proficiency scores.

Goal 2 (Climate and Culture)- Based on the 2020-2021 WV School Climate Survey, there will be a 3% increase on the 2021-2022 WV School Climate Survey.

Goal 3 (Family and Community)- Families will increase participation by 3% according to the sign-in sheets of each event from beginning to the end of the 2021-22 school year.
